The KPC nursery provides a safe, fun, and learning-rich environment where children from birth to five years old can experience God’s love. Our approved caregivers partner with parents to teach kids the principles of the Bible in a safe and fun atmosphere.
We have a place for nursing mothers as well, equipped with a live video feed of the main service.
We are always looking for new volunteers to get involved in our children's ministry! All of our volunteers and staff are required to be background checked, interviewed by the KPKids staff, complete an online Ministry Safe training, and attend a training to learn our policies and procedures.
What do we do when we arrive?
We have check-in desks where we will enter your children's information into our system. We will print tags that will be placed on the child's clothing and a matching tag for the parents to show at pick up.
What will my kids be doing?
The KPC nursery provides a safe, fun, and learning-rich environment where children from birth to five years old can experience God’s love. Our approved ministers teach children the principles of the Bible through a Biblical based curriculum. This includes play time, a video, a lesson, and activities.
What do I need to bring?
1. Clearly labelled diapers, wipes, change of clothing for accidents, bottles and pacifiers. We also provide diapers and wipes when needed.
2. If you child is potty training, please bring a change of clothing in case they have an accident while at church.
3. Details concerning feeding and schedules. You can leave this information and any special instructions on the classroom roster when leaving your child in their classroom.
What if my child is unable to stay in class?
If a child is crying or unhappy to be in the class, we will make all attempts to calm the child for up to 10 minutes. If, at that point, the child is still upset, we will call the parent and ask them to pick them up.
What is the wellness policy?
To ensure a safe and healthy environment for every child, we request that parents take responsibility for making sure their children are well before coming to church. Please make sure children are symptom free for at least 24 hours before bringing them to their class. If a child has a fever or has visible symptoms, we will ask the parents to return and pick them up.
How do I dedicate my child to the Lord?
We believe dedicating children to the Lord is a very important step in raising them in a God-honoring way. We offer Baby Dedications once a quarter. For more information and to register for the upcoming Baby Dedication, please email us
